This Submission Policy explains what we expect from professionals who apply to become Insiders and contribute content to InsiderSpain. Our goal is a platform readers can trust, so we hold submissions to a clear standard.
Who can submit
Submissions are open to professionals with genuine expertise and a track record of serving the international community in Spain. We do not accept anonymous submissions or content from contributors unwilling to stand behind their work.
What we accept
- Practical, accurate, original guidance relevant to expats in Spain.
- Content tied to one of our verticals (immigration, real estate, insurance, taxes, healthcare, education) or city guides.
- Articles that genuinely help readers — not thinly disguised advertising.
What we reject
- Pure self-promotion, sales pitches, or content with no informational value.
- Plagiarised, AI-spun, or factually unverified material.
- Misleading claims, especially around legal, tax, medical, or financial matters.
Review & editing
All submissions are reviewed by our editorial team. We may edit for clarity, accuracy, and house style, request changes, or decline a submission. Approval as an Insider does not guarantee publication of every article. Please also read our Writing Guidelines.
