Who is Insider?
We call our “Insiders” all those who have achieved high level of professionalism in their specific industry or they have some information that very few have access to. Mostly they conduct their respective business in Spain and often cater to expat audience. Generally, they have arrived to Spain from outside and have seen how things can be different here, as of now they have gained experience and have good understanding of “how Spain works”. They also can be local Spaniards that are highly regarded in the expat community. Our Insiders are willing to share their exclusive knowledge with others and as a consequence they are recognized as thought leaders for their industries by everyone else. They have good record of previous business and you can trust them.
All the information is already on the internet. Does Insider Spain make sense?
We very much believe so. We are living in times when so much unreliable, contradictory and completely misleading information available elsewhere on the Web. There is an incredible amount of poor advice on open online forums and Facebook groups. The problem with not moderated content is that anyone can comment and post and if you are newcomer, a poor advice has the same weight as a good one. We wanted to bring the stars of different industries together in one place for their wisdom and make it accessible for everyone.
Are Insiders only the ones with big following on social media?
No, but what you have noticed is that they are authorities and probably lead in their industry and this is why they have substantial following.
Why would Insiders share their wisdom for free?
Insiders are authoritative because of the ideas they share. It is a way of gaining trust and more followers and consequently growing their reach and influence.
I am in Spain only for 5 months, can I be Insider?
Sure, recent experiences are very welcomed if they would benefit the readers.
Can anyone be Insider?
No, but if you are a professional and you are interested to share your insight, please see here what industries we are admitting at the moment.
Do you accept guest posts from bloggers?
The short answer is no. But if you have something very exciting in mind, we might consider it.
How many insiders there are / will be?
There is no specific limit or a target that we have set, however we will not accept pure self-promotion and similar, so each Insider should bring something interesting and meaningful for the audience.
